A four-year Bachelor?s or Master?s degree from a recognized university in Pakistan, preferably with a major in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce from an HEC-recognized institute/university.
A qualification in Islamic Finance will be preferred.
Experience:
Minimum of 7 years of credit-related experience with reputable banks in Pakistan, preferably with Islamic banks.
Responsibilities:
Evaluate Credit Proposals: Assess market reputation, creditworthiness, financial strength, and repayment capacity to determine risk levels.
Collaborate with Managers: Work with Regional Credit and Relationship Managers to gather and verify customer data for risk analysis.
Ensure Compliance: Adhere to prudential regulations of SBP, internal policies of the policy department, and Shariah guidelines from the Shariah Compliance Department.
Monitor Industry Trends: Stay informed about industry trends and sector developments to enhance credit risk assessment and decision-making.
Audit Queries: Coordinate with Regional Relationship teams to resolve audit queries (internal and external).
Skills Required:
Strong analytical skills, a thorough understanding of SBP regulations and credit practices, proficiency in financial analysis, and excellent communication abilities.
