As a remote-first organization, our employees, like our customers, are based around the world.We want people who are passionate about sharing our message.As a Designer reporting to the Manager of Experience Design, you will create assets, illustrations, and graphics that help grow and support the DO brand while enabling our potential customers to engage with our products and services in meaningful ways.As a team member, you will work closely in an efficient and expeditious environment with developers, designers, program managers, and other stakeholders to create branded solutions across various DigitalOcean digital properties. You will help lead the charge in defining and implementing what our brand looks and feels like, working with other designers, developers, and stakeholders to create thoughtful solutions to the problems presented to you.What You?ll Be Doing:

• Lead projects from inception to completion, including website design, social media creatives, print designs, and artworks or reworking existing digital assets to support various teams.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create visually compelling designs aligned with marketing goals and brand identity.
• Develop design strategies and concepts that meet business objectives and target audience preferences.
• Stay updated with industry trends and design tools, incorporating them into your work to ensure they remain current and effective.
• Efficiently manage and prioritize multiple projects, maintaining project timelines and deadlines for timely delivery.
• Manage workload to ensure the timely delivery of all projects, address sign-off points, and communicate any potential risks or delays to stakeholders.
• Support and mentor junior team members, fostering their professional growth and development.

What Well Expect From You:

• Experience of 3-4 years of related professional experience in graphic design, visual communications of related fields.
• You have hands-on experience in the creative process, UX, marketing, graphic design, print design and brand development.
• Experience with motion graphics and animation.
• Work closely with our content team to bring ideas to life through engaging video content.
• You are creative with the ability to own projects from the initial concept stage to delivery
• You make rational design decisions supported by design theory, research data, and business goals.
• You stress on the details and care about creating truly delightful digital experiences.
• Clear, simple, and powerful communication.
• You work well within a team. Youre opinionated yet humble and always looking to grow.
• You have a working knowledge of Figma, Photoshop, Illustrator, Indesign, Premiere Pro and After Effects
• You have flawless attention to detail.
• You have a strong ability to meet tight deadlines and multitask to manage several projects simultaneously.
• You enjoy partnering with other teams to use design to solve business problems.
