About the job BUSINESS ANALYSTCOMPANY OVERVIEWOur Client, a Karachi based newly established Renewable Energy company, seeks to appoint experienced professionals for the following role:The position of Business Analyst will report to Manager Commercial and will be responsible for analyzing business processes, market trends, competitor analysis, and customer pipeline data to support strategic initiatives. Key duties include managing pre-sale customer information, lead generation data, supply chain specs & pricing, tender processes, conducting market and competitor analysis, and providing insights for business growth. The role involves developing & understanding business models, preparing detailed reports, PowerPoint presentations for executives, and collaborating with various departments to enhance operational efficiency and support business development goals. This position plays a critical role in ensuring the companys competitive edge in the renewable energy market.Key Responsibilities

  • Evaluate and analyze current business processes to identify areas for improvement.
  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Conduct thorough market research to identify trends, opportunities, and threats in the renewable energy sector.
  • Analyze competitor strategies and performance to inform business development efforts.
  • Design, develop, and manage the tender process to secure new projects and contracts.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and company policies in all tender submissions.
  • Assist in the development of strategic plans and business cases for new projects and initiatives.
  • Provide data-driven insights and recommendations to support decision-making processes.
  • Work closely with various departments, including finance, operations, and project management, to ensure alignment with business development goals.
  • Prepare and present detailed reports and PowerPoint presentations to senior management.
  • Identify potential risks related to business development activities and tender processes.
  • Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies to ensure project and business continuity.
Education
  • Minimum 16 years of education preferably masters from a renowned HEC recognized university or institution/equivalent foreign degree holder preferably in Business Administration, Economics, or related field.
Experience
  • Minimum 3-4 years of professional experience preferably in a large national/multinational organization with at least 2 years of related functional experience in a similar role at an equivalent position or in one level below position.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in business analysis, preferably in the renewable energy sector.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and software.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
Age
  • The candidate should be preferably not more than 33 years of age as of last date of submission of application.
