  • To provide 1st and 2nd line technical expertise and support as part of infrastructure support in controlling and supporting various infrastructure environments and related software products and to respond to faults, requests for change, delivery of new products and services with adherence to service level agreements (SLA) and policies and procedures of the bank.
  • To manage vendors including onsite support engineers (OSV) who are responsible for the ongoing support of the Standard Chartered businesses to ensure a secure, stable and highly resilient environment.
  • To create and present written and verbal proposals to IT and business resources to ensure all work-undertaken meets budgeted costs and Group Standards.
  • To assist in new implementations or upgrades to existing systems, including project management, tracking, and reporting
  • To assist in the provision of business recovery sites to give the ability to conduct business transactions and monitor exposure in the event of a disaster.
Strategy*
  • Responsible for the enforcement of global strategies and standards in all Standard Chartered locations including ensuring risk / compliance and security / build standards are followed.
  • Assist/Support in new implementations or upgrades to existing systems, including project management, project tracking and project status reporting.

Business*
  • Provide support to all business functions in area of technology infrastructure / services.
  • Responsible for managing/support day to day activities, involving and interacting with core technology support teams and to ensure smooth operations.

Processes*
  • Incident Management, Problem and change (Scheduled change & RMS) management ? outstanding problemchange management, call logging, call trends, call reporting including high severity problem control.
  • All Remedy related initiatives and updates. Ensuring standards are adhered to, or dispensations raised.
  • All relevant documentations are in place guided by bank?s policies and procedures with periodic review and updates.
  • Provide professional consultation to management and internal client on technical issues associated with Infrastructure / Database/ Desktop / Channels and associated software products.
  • To provide technical support for all Standard Chartered core banking business products. Accountable for the implementation and ongoing verification of Security patch?s / fixes (OS and Virus) within SCB locations.
  • Responsible for a seamless operation with focus on continuous business operation with respect to server infrastructure and ensure secure, stable, and highly resilient environment.
  • To manage vendors including onsite support engineers (OSV) who are responsible for the ongoing support of the Standard Chartered businesses to ensure a secure, stable and highly resilient environment.
People & Talent *
  • Maintain an expert knowledge within the team and keep abreast on industry trends in relation to business requirements and the direction of the bank.
  • Coordinate into all related projects with concerned internal/external support staff.
  • Provide support and guidance to other technical teams.
  • Build the appropriate culture and values and provision of ongoing training and development of people.
Risk Management*
  • Risk management control, KCS assistance, SIP initiatives and reporting, including Technical audit compliance, directly and indirectly.
  • Protectors of the local environment, including responsibility to ensure safe and tidy IT installations and cabling, local regulatory compliance, health and safety adherence etc.
  • Adhere to risk management framework of the bank. KCSA and KRI to be in place. Also responsible for service improvement process (SIP) initiatives and reporting, including audit compliance, directly and indirectly.
Governance *
  • SAT completion, standard build usage
  • Ensure that current and new technical solutions satisfy both the immediately and long-term needs of the business and ensure adherence with the bank?s technical and security standards in all aspects.
  • Ensure all bank standards should follow in all projects like commissioning / decommissioning / SAT / OAT.
