  • Ensure all outstanding deals are confirmed in timely manner
  • Maintenance of relationship with local business units in particular Global Markets to provide operational support.
  • Awareness and respect of local regulations, group and business policies, business standard procedures and best practices.
Processes
  • Ensure all FX deals are settled as per banks and regulatory framework.
  • Exchange of deal confirmation is done in a timely manner.
  • Escalate to line manager in-case of any deal discrepancies.
  • Ensure smooth SBP & regulatory reporting.
  • Verification of deals through source documents.
  • Compliance to the global outstanding confirmations guidelines / procedures.
  • Implement sound controls and consistent processes.
  • Act as a backup of Manager FX & Derivatives, FMO CC
  • Coordinate with the counter banks for settlement related issues.
  • Co ordinate with recon team for FMO outstanding transactions.
  • Log items in GEMS in case of any request, complaint /query / error related issue.
  • 100% compliance of the signature verification & call back procedures of the Group
  • Support MM and FI team in Back up capacity as per Approved DOA.
People and Talent
  • Support Team Leader/ Supervisor to ensure clarity of information flow, escalation of concerns and communication of departmental change.
  • Provide clarity to team on what excellence means for their roles.
  • Strong individual engagement within team members.
Risk Management
  • Oversee the settlement activities by all aspects of the control and monitoring of associated operational risk
Governance
  • Manage call quality through monitoring calls
  • Initiate and drive projects relating to continuous improvement within FMO-CC.
  • Proactively monitor market developments, adapt and apply best practices.
  • Ensure key service level metrics are met- both internal and with client.
  • Act as an escalation point for errors and queries and prompt an early escalation of risk issues.
  • Ensure timely resolution of client queries.
  • Use customer feedback to continuously re-engineer processes.
  • Ensure appropriate follow through of audit findings.
  • Participation of root cause analysis and corrective actions.
