This role?s mission will be:- You will be the owner of 4 Markets located in Pakistan, UAE, Kuwait & Bahrain, where GMV volumes are growing exponentially month over month. Therefore, you will be responsible for the accuracy and completeness of all transactions posted- You will need to collaborate with the different departments across the company to ensure operating expenses are accounted for and reconciled in a timely manner- You will lead the external audit of your entities ensuring this happens year over yearWhat youll do

• Perform a magnitude of different tasks for month-end and year-end closing
• Deliver periodic financials with the required proofing as per financial closing calendar or statutory requirements
• Ensure smooth financial audits and support tax team to cater to their financial information requirements
• Ensure compliance with local laws and regulations
• Bring in efficiencies through automations

• Manage the entities? cash flow needs
• Handle and lead all Financial Operations topics such as payments and treasury
• Manage the AR of the markets and improve the overall recoveries
• Build a good relationship with key stakeholders such as corporate sales, supply, care, FP&A, central accounting teams and others
• Be the Go-to Finance guy for all finance topics

What youll need

• Qualified accountant (ACA or ACCA)
• Relevant experience of at least 7 years with 3 years in accounting leadership roles
• Familiarity of working with ERPs
• Technical proficiency and strong analytical skills
• Experience in team management
• Proven track record of working with multi-entity and global organizations
• Excellent communication skills (both written and spoken) and fluent in English
• Organizational skills and ability to manage deadlines
• Analytical thinker and detailed oriented
• Excellent teamwork, interpersonal, and relationship management skills
