Civil Inspector -QA QC

Job Description

Key Accountabilities:? Perform field inspections of civil infrastructure & Perform failure analysis on civil infrastructure issues to identify root causes of failures.? Generate and track to completion all recommendations for addressing civil issues? Review the design package for the maintenance and projects to convey the QA/QC and civil reliability requirement.? Ensure that project civil specifications and approved drawings are implemented on site by performing QA/QC activities.? Witness and approve laboratory and field test done by soil and concrete technician & Assistance with interpretations of civil Codes and Standards.? Develop civil inspection program and establish routine monitoring programs for the critical infrastructure.? Provide turnaround civil QA/QC inspections according to the job list and scope of work prepared prior to shutdowns.? Conduct planned (PM order) and unplanned QA/QC inspections.Skills:- Knowledge and understanding of civil structures associated with process units and equipment.- Strong technical knowledge of relevant codes and standards including ASTM, ACI, ICRI, ISO requirements.- Strong understanding of materials, failure mechanisms, and corrosion issues.- Capable of selecting the appropriate civil inspection requirements for projects and maintenance civil repairs. - Excellent interpersonal, teamwork and communication skills with a well-developed sense of urgency.- Knowledge and skills in Meridium for recommendation management.- Demonstrated skill with Microsoft Office software, including Excel, Word and PowerPoint.- Experience with Root Cause Analysis.
