Job Description

JOB PURPOSE?Supervise the warehouse operations and maintain inventory and stock orders; organize warehouse layout, safe loading of orders keeping in-view company?s policies and procedures and ISO requirements.Responsibilities

  • Effectively maintain the warehouse facilities and ensure organize structure and safe work environment.
  • Monitor daily warehouse activities, staff attendance, conduct stock take and manage inventory level and accuracy.
  • Ensure that all movement of product / material is through SAP system.
  • Coordinate with Manager regarding determining storage space requirements, optimum stock quantities and resolving issues.
  • Responsible for the accurate issues and receipts of stock.
  • Instruct and direct storekeepers to issue goods as per the requirement.
  • Ensure safety to reduce damages.
  • Manage staff allocation and ensure the availability of forklift, loader and other related staff.?
  • Coordinate with logistic department for the driver and vehicle availability,
  • Implement procedure and controls in consultation with the manager, and follow F.I.F.O principles of stock issues.
  • Prepare report as and when instructed about stock balances, movement of items, production expiry dates.
  • Ensure that delivery vehicles are in good condition.
  • Maintain barcode system in assigned warehouse and inform superiors in case of discrepancies.
  • Coordinate with customers regarding delivery of product.
  • Assign location for returned/damaged/expired goods and prepare periodical statements for submission to superiors.
  • Ensure a neat, tidy and well arranged warehouse.
  • Monitor and ensure that workers are following the Good Manufacturing Practices and quality objective of AGM.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by in-charge, able to work overtime when required.
