Job Description

The Venture Lab Assistant Manager is responsible for fostering an entrepreneurial ecosystem at MBSC for impact across KSA through managing the co-working space, incubator/accelerator program, business support services, access to funding, relationships with external partners and service providers as well as events to provide a hub for entrepreneurial businesses. Venture Lab services are offered to MBSC entrepreneurs community as well as the external community.ÿ

  1. Manage the incubator/accelerator program
  2. Manage the coworking space
  3. Entrepreneurship eventsa. Workshops
    1. Networking events
    2. Panel discussions (Webinar Series)
    3. Inspirational talks & success stories
    4. Facilitating major events held on campus on an annual basis (GEM Saudi Arabia Report Launch, Entrepreneurship World Cup, etc.)
  4. Venture Lab Business Support Services including:
    1. Access to the Media Center (in collaboration with WPS)
    2. Legal services (Third party provider)
    3. Issuing letters of identification addressed to governmental entities
    4. Consultation & mentoring services
    5. Mailing services (in collaboration with WPS)
    6. Web & app development (Third party provider)
    7. Marketing & exposure of MBSC entrepreneurs through events and business collaborations
    8. Building a vibrant network and provide entrepreneurs with access to it
    9. Provide entrepreneurs access to volunteers and interns (Third party provider)
Manage Networks:
  1. Angel Networks
  2. VCs
  3. Sponsoring partners
Other duties:
  • Manage the Venture Lab annual budget
  • Process expenses and invoices
  • Attend and minute meetings.
  • Manage the processes of the Venture Lab and streamline efficiencies
