Job Description

The Vendor Manager will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and expanding relationships with our existing and potential vendors, as well as managing the life cycle of our products. This role is crucial for ensuring that our product offerings meet the highest quality standards while maximizing profitability and enhancing customer satisfaction.Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and maintain strong relationships with current and potential vendors, acting as the primary point of contact for all vendor-related inquiries and negotiations.
  2. Identify and onboard new vendors to expand our product offerings and enhance the customer experience.
  3. Evaluate vendor performance regularly, addressing any issues or concerns and working closely with them to implement improvement plans.
  4. Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing with vendors, ensuring optimal value for both parties.
  5. Oversee product life cycle management, including planning, sourcing, inventory control, pricing, and discontinuation.
  6. Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, finance, and logistics, to develop and execute strategies for successful product launches and promotions.
  7. Monitor and analyze sales data to identify trends and opportunities for growth, making recommendations to the VP of Commercial and other stakeholders.
  8. Ensure timely and accurate product information is available on our website, working closely with the content and merchandising teams.
  9. Maintain a deep understanding of industry trends and competitors, staying up-to-date on new products, technologies, and market changes.
