Execute the daily transportation plan, and review the plan prior to communication to the transportation providers
Supervise and evaluate all transportation systems, procedures and plans
Liaise with 3PL customers to plan & agree delivery schedules
Ensure that all 3PL reporting requirements are provided
Adhere to all company policies and guide the teams respectively.
Manage the Transport Team & ensure the required resources are in place and available
Resolve issues with the Warehouse Team
Resolve issues with the Transporter?s Representative
Ensure the necessary equipment is available to carry out the tasks
Ensure all teams are achieving their targets and KPI?s and maximize their productivity and performance
Review and evaluate the team?s productivity and take action to improve efficiency on regular basis
Effectively resolve employee conduct problems in the workplace.
Respond and investigate accidents and take immediate action at the site.
Record all information necessary to measure transportation performance and provide 3PL company requirements
Perform and other duties as requested
