Job Description

  • JOB PURPOSE AND SCOPE
Apply knowledge related to all taxes in KSA to protect the business from losses. To check and record all taxes related to business and file returns on due dates. All work related to accounting.

  • DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
EXCISE TAX:1. Knowledge of Excise Tax Law and its rule.2. Approve and activate the formula for the new product in the ERP system.3. Register new products in ZATCA and take the approval of excise rates.4. Update the excise rate in the ERP system of the new product and activate it.5. Apply for revision of excise rate if any in ZATCA and update in ERP accordingly.6. Apply for export permission in ZATCA.7. Apply for exemption of excise on imported material.8. Calculate, check, and file excise returns for each period in ZATCA.9. Calculate the annual guarantee amount and apply in ZATCA for renewal of license.10. Prepare and submit excise audits requirement raised by ZATCA occasionally.11. Keep all records and documents related to excise in a way it is easily available when needed.12. Claim damages and expired product excise from ZATACA and deal with the ZATCA audit team on a visit.13. Monitor all excise-related transactions in ERP.14. Able to advise on excise-related issues.15. All excise-related work that is required from time to time.16. Dealing with ZATCA for Import and export-related issues and audits.17. Monthly print Fasah report from the portal and reconcile with Import and export.18. Ensure that company operation is done in line with ZATCA guidelines.19. Help import and export departments in ZATCA-related matters.VAT:20. Check all invoices related to sales and ensure all are according to ZATCA requirements. Ensure all are recorded in ERP on a daily basis.21. Prepare VAT return.22. Dealing with ZATCA and providing them with all required information.23. Ensure all WHTs are recorded and paid on time.GENERAL ACCOUNTING: 24. Approval of Inventory Movement transaction.25. Monitor the finished goods movement from the tax warehouse and ask for inventory reconciliation from the warehouse from time to time.26. Other duties/responsibilities as assigned.27. Any finance-related Task.
