Position SummaryThis role is part of the Digital Experience and Innovation team. System Technician will be responsible for preparing, verifying, installing, configuring, and maintaining various systems.Scope of Work? Coordinates and performs the preparation, verification, installation, and configuration of technical systems and environments.? Troubleshoots and resolves problems and inconsistencies with technical systems including hardware, communications, and software.? Interacts with other departments to resolve problems including IT, facilities, and engineering functions.? Checks, verifies, and edits procedural requirements and standards.? Creates and maintains documentation of systems including manuals.? Performs the physical setup of devices used in pilots and proof-of-concepts such as laptops, tablets, sensors.? Responsible for installation of network cables and power in coordination with other departments such as IT and facilities when required.? Responsible for break/fix and troubleshooting when hardware failures occur in coordination with vendors and suppliers.? Performs basic operating system installations and server configurations.? Maintains inventory of equipment and tools.? Perform other applicable tasks and duties assigned within the realm of the employee?s knowledge, skills and abilities in the field of his/her position.
