Job Description

Job RoleAs a Supply Chain Manager, you will be responsible for managing the supply chain functions (Customer Services, Procurement, Demand & Supply Planning, Warehousing & Logistics) to deliver the company objectives by providing outstanding supply chain service levels on quality and delivery. Plan and track delivery of production balancing the demand and supply versus the given constraints (materials, human resources, machine capacities, etc).Job Responsibilities

  • Design and implement supply chain functions that support business strategies adapted to changing market conditions, new business opportunities, or cost reduction strategies.
  • Define performance metrics for measurement, comparison, or evaluation of supply chain factors, such as product cost or quality.
  • Setting annual objectives for department and team.
  • Perform Rough-Cut capacity planning to confirm supply capacity in the medium-long term
  • Provide a weekly rolling supply commitment against weekly/monthly demand to support timely product availability.
  • Monitor production performance against plan and revise assumptions and constraints.
  • Determine and execute appropriate inventory holding of raw materials and provide input to demand planning for safety stocks for finished goods.
  • Provide a plan to procure materials from suppliers and coordinate with purchasing to ensure their timely availability to support the production plan.
  • Understand demand levels and determine distribution requirements accordingly.
  • Develop procedures for coordination of supply chain management with other functional areas, such as sales, marketing, finance, production, or quality assurance.
  • Determine how to increase inventory turns, reduce waste, or optimize customer service.
  • Select transportation routes to maximize economy by combining shipments or consolidating warehousing and distribution.
  • Manage the 3PL operations by achieving the agreed SLA and KPIs.
  • Responsible for deliveries and optimizing transport costs to meet the budget.
  • Prepare, monitor, and control department budget.
  • Provide leadership and supervision to the whole department in hiring required personnel, conducting performance evaluation, training and developing of all employees and managing work allocations and delegation IN ORDER TO build an effective, motivated and dynamic team.
