Job Description

Job Purpose:To manage all company transportation activities and Transportation supervisors are responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of their company?s fleet of vehicles. They ensure that all drivers are following proper safety procedures, adhere to schedules, and deliver goods or passengers in a timely fashion.Key responsibilities:

  1. Managing other transportation, including but not limited to, logistics for staff & company.
  2. Assigning drivers for the conveyance of employees to the airport on time (vacation/exit).
  3. Assigning drivers to convey sick patients to the outside hospital on time.
  4. Scheduling and monitoring driver routes and hours once it?s required.
  5. Assigning drivers to purchase materials for emergency purposes for the camp maintenance work.
  6. Coordinate with OTS to ensure the bus movement to avoid rush inside the port.
  7. Carry out visual inspection of the vehicles before issuing/receiving to/from employees and managing company vehicles, coordinating maintenance and upgrading when necessary.
  8. Maintaining vehicle compliance with regulations like Department of Transportation requirements and passenger safety laws.
  9. Execute government relations works regarding traffic police, employees driving licenses, etc. on time.
  10. Coordinating with government relations of handing/taking over car under employee name ( official authorization ) through the traffic department ( TAMM system ).
  11. Conducting inspections of vehicle interiors and exteriors for any damage or defects that could cause safety concerns during the work.
  12. Coordinating with the representative of the leasing company to ensure that all vehicles are checked/inspected during PM service and any damage/accident is reported to the concerned department.
  13. Ensure compliance with Safe Work Practices.
  14. Ensure compliance with HSE policy
  15. Reporting accidents and ?near misses? in accordance with defined safety procedures.
  16. Coordinate with the Medical insurance officer work progress of the Camp clinic.
