Job Description

JOB PURPOSE:To manage all company transportation activities, transportation supervisors are responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of their company?s fleet of vehicles. They ensure that all drivers are following proper safety procedures, adhere to schedules, and deliver goods or passengers in a timely fashion.KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Managing other transportation, including but not limited to, logistics to staff & company.
  • Assigning drivers for the conveyance of employees to the airport on time (vacation/exit)
  • Assigning drivers to convey the sick patients to the outside hospital on time
  • Scheduling and monitoring driver routes and hours and once it?s required.
  • Assigning drivers to purchase materials for the emergency purpose for the camp maintenance work from the petty cash
  • Coordinate with OTS to ensure the bus movement to avoid a rush inside the port
  • Carry out visual inspection of the vehicles before issuing/receiving to/from employees, managing company vehicles, coordinating maintenance, and upgrading when necessary.
  • Maintaining vehicle compliance with regulations like Department of Transportation requirements and passenger safety laws.
  • Execute the government relations works regarding traffic police, employees driving licenses, etc. on time
  • Coordination with the HR team for investigation, call staff to report to the HR office, etc.
  • Coordinating with government relation of handing/taking over car under employee name (official authorization) through traffic department (TAMM system).
  • Conducting inspections of vehicle interiors and exteriors for any damage or defects that could cause safety concerns during the work.
  • Coordinating with the representative of the leasing company to ensure that all vehicles are checked/inspected during PM service and any damage/accident is reported to the concerned department.
  • Ensure compliance with Safe Work Practices
  • Ensure compliance with HSE policy
  • Reporting accidents and ?near misses? in accordance with defined safety procedures.
  • Coordinate with the Medical insurance officer on the work progress of the Camp clinic.
  • Act as a backup for the medical insurance contact with the insurance company, Employees, and service providers.
