Job Description

To organize, plan, program and supervise resources availability to the stores and therefore contributing to smooth functioning of port operations. In addition, to forecast future inventory demand parts.Key responsibilities:

  • Materials Control Supervisor is responsible for overseeing warehousing, material receiving and maintaining efficient material handling and storage in accordance with company policies.
  • Overseeing the issuance and distribution of inventory to ensure that supplies processed in accordance with company policies.
  • Ensuring that inventory levels are maintained within specified limits.
  • Work closely with Procurement and user departments to ensure material availability.
  • Monitor and ensure the accuracy of all inventory transactions and maintain records of all stockroom locations.
  • monitoring and classification of inventory part number database and associated data.
  • Prepares statistical and information reports on material coordination and warehouse activities
  • supervision experience and ability to monitor and direct workflow Managing recycling and Have the ability to handle diverse personalities and able to work across departmental lines effectively
  • Able to work in an integrated systems environment.
  • disposal of inventory as directed by the Material control manager and Finance.
  • Contributes to the development of processes and procedures.ÿ
