Conducting prevention & correction of civil maintenance as per inspection reports issued by the civil engineer through specific works program schedule.Supervise new proposed& maintenance ongoing civil works.Cleaning& washing terminal yards, building, workshops, warehouses, toilets, operation& safety cabins& other facilities through scheduled time frames.Arrangement of the landscape at terminal yards & buildings.Follow up& check yards & facilities pest control performance by an outside contractor.Follow up & assure get rid of scrap materials& other types of waste material conducted by an outside contractor.Checking outside suppliers as per issued PMD purchase requests.Checking layout& status of signages on whole facilities & terminal yards as per issued TMP& making required rectifications.Supervising housekeeping & arrangement of PMD material, equipment & other properties.Checking implementation of safety rules by PMD manpower.Oversee Port maintenance in the following areas; -? Air conditioning.? Electrical.? Masonry? Steel works & welding? Plumbing? Painting? Carpentry? Terminal yards& facilities cleaning.Ensure maintenance activities are aligned with the allocated budget.Analyse cost incurred on maintenance activitiesprepare progress report.educate users about proper & low-cost maintenance of infrastructures.Introduce and implement best practices about infrastructure usage.Ensure that a job card is prepared for each conducted maintenance activity.Ensure issued works permits, hot permits, excavation permits &other required permits to beapproved by safety other concerned departments before starting.Issue checklist of manpower material & equipment before start.Issue job completion reports.
