Kitchen Stewards are responsible for maintaining high levels of cleanliness and organization within the kitchen.?Kitchen Steward is responsible for ensuring the kitchen, all kitchen equipment, all surfaces, serving ware, dish ware are clean and sanitized, and for minor repair & maintenance and waste disposal throughout the building as needed. Kitchen steward?s duties include creating and maintaining a cleaning schedule for the kitchen, cleaning the stoves, ovens, pots, pans, grills, and refrigerators, and washing dishes, glasses, and cutlery. You may also be responsible for polishing silver. Kitchen steward has a good understanding of the importance of keeping a kitchen clean and organized to help chefs.?Kitchen Stewards are also responsible for looking after the toilets on rotations bases.
