High-level Job Purpose Statement

Responsible for management of daily activities of the reception function in the maintenance/repair facility;?maximize reception utilization and company profitability

?Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesReception

Manage the daily activities of the facility service reception function; ensure the area is well managed for a high level of efficiency and customer satisfaction?
Allocate jobs correctly to service advisors in order to maximize reception utilization; carry out pre-booking of vehicles
Follow up on ATP vehicles and ensure that the concerned WIPs are completed in a timely manner and that jobs are carried out completely
Ensure job card is opened efficiently and accurately for correct and quick execution of the job; raise necessary invoices to ensure timely delivery and collection of payment from the customer
Prioritize jobs retuned and liaise with the workshop supervisor/team lead to take corrective action
Facilitate the development of staff

Reporting and Analysis

Analyze reception productivity reports and take corrective action for improvement
Analyze customer feedback and in consultation with the Service Manager find solutions to resolve complaints?
Analyze the performance of the service advisors and review the results with the Service Manager for improvement and appraisal

?Customer

Ensure the vehicle is received efficiently and in a professional manner; assure the customer his vehicle is in safe hands
Ensure proper delivery of the vehicle to the customer upon completion of service
Establish new customer relationships and develop and maintain rapport with existing/long-term clients
Manage and interpret customer requirements by listening to clients and questioning to understand; anticipate and exceed their needs?
