The job is at KAUST under a contract with Acuative.Position SummaryBased in the Global Branding and Communications (GBC) Video Team the post holder will be responsible for delivering a wide range of university film projects from creative brief through to final delivery, often to tight deadlines. Films will typically be published on the website, YouTube, and social media channels to support marketing, research and innovation, and internal communications.The position requires an experienced creative videographer with a wide-ranging skill set. The post-holder will write scripts, produce storyboards, direct photography, oversee production, and when required self-shoot on a DSLR camera or professional quality camcorder and edit and post-produce their own video productions.The ideal candidate will be a creative thinker and will have an undergraduate or postgraduate degree in film making and an extensive portfolio of previous filmmaking projects. Animation skills in both 2D and 3D would be beneficial but not essential. Must be fluent in English to a very high level both written and verbal.Primary duties will include video project management, writing of creative briefs, writing of scripts and storyboards, assembling cast and crew, the direction of photography, shooting footage on DSLR or professional quality camcorder, video editing, and post-production.Scope of WorkCustomer liaison and support?
