Job Description

Lead, direct and manage the activities of national inventory operations (PDC &? Retail centers) by creating the strategic plans and process with the best practice standard procedures in improving the parts business performance and achieved the division and company goals in acquiring the customer trust of providing the right parts, at the right time and the right place.Key Activities

• Create a crisis management strategy as a pro-active approach to assure the continuity of parts business against main crisis possibilities (Supplier crisis, sales drop & total loss of PDC due to fire) by securing parts supply among whole supply chain during the crisis.??
• Develop, plan, and improve the service rate and Stock month at the targeted level to enhance the Parts GDI by satisfying the customers and ensuring the parts availability at all times.?
• Formulate and approve the department annual action plan and the department annual budget as per the departmental mid-term strategic plan to synchronize the strategies to improve profit.?
• Initiate and lead the cost optimization program to reduce the logistical cost by minimizing the stock depth & order fluctuation as much as possible to a manageable level to increase profit margin.
• Strengthen coordination with other business unit heads and establish a working relationship with other departments to promote the integration for other parties with Parts Business and support the implementation of logistic & sales strategies.?
• Negotiate the freight costs with shipping lines/ couriers (Sea and? Air) and local transporter from seaport to PDC by creating a strong communication channel with suppliers for a better negotiation atmosphere.?
• Deals, discuss & find alternative solutions with the suppliers when serious variations arise in delivery time, quality, price, or conditions of sale.

• Intensify and strengthen communication and coordination channels with the Sales and Marketing Department for ?Just in Time?? performance in sales campaign and price revision.?
• Strengthen coordination with Warehouse Department for a? synchronized logistical operation load and responsibilities in the conduct of the annual stocktaking.

• Develop strategies for the supply chain process and sequence of inventory operations to improve the service rate, stock month, and stock efficiency by reviewing the inventory trends regularly.?
• Empower team members by designing the Department Organization? Chart with clear roles, responsibilities & clear career paths.?
• Create department internal policies to secure the quality of inventory department & external policies with other departments to secure the quality of synchronization areas with others to meet company direction.?
• Manage manpower performance, development, and engagement programs to transfer the Know-How to the associates to be engaged, self-reliant, and productive.?
• Initiate new projects that aim to transfer the know-how to ALJ? centers and dealers and improve the department KPI?s by monitoring the implementation regularly.?
• Design a mechanism to generate, implement & evaluate ideas among the team members.?
• Continuous improvement of the Inventory Management Operation with ?dynamic? relationship with the IT Department for improving the stock service rate.
