We are seeking to recruit on behalf of our client who is a pioneer and global leader in the field of pre-engineered steel building systems a SAFETY OFFICER to work theirs Manufacturing Section, for the client?s the client is for a permanent position based in SAUDI ARABIA, must have Saudi Residence.Minimum Experience & Essential KnowledgeBachelor?s Degree / Diploma in Health & SafetyBasic knowledge of HSE professional LicenseGood knowledge in MS Office and document managementNEBOSH IGC or IOSH MS certificationCertification in Fire Fighting, First Aid, Permit to WorkPreparation of daily/weekly/monthly HSE reportsActive involvement in Incident/Accident investigationsDuties/ResponsibilitiesProviding Employees / Visitors with HSE inductionActively participate in Toolbox talks and leading HSE briefings / internal training sessions.Involve in preparation and implementation of emergency response plans and mock drills.Coordinate and advise production team in order to avoid the risk of occupational injuries, accidents, environmental incidents, and property damage.Monitoring of premises in order to ensure compliance with HSEMS and Safe System of WorksMonitoring of employee?s compliance in following SOPs and usage of PPEsAssist HSE Engineer in the development and revision of HSE Manual / Work Instructions / SOPsActive involvement in the development of Risk AssessmentsPeriodic inspection of plant equipment?s, machineries, and vehiclesInspection of workers? welfare facilities at plant premises and reporting to HR the outcomes of such visitsPreparation of near miss reports and accidents reports in coordination with supervisors/HODs.Analysis of LTIs and First Aid incidents for preventive / improvement actionsPreparing training material for various aspects of SafetyContinuously imparting HSE training to all concerned
