Job Description

<b>JOB PURPOSE:</b><br />To Ensures that O& M and the project HSE system meet the applicable HSE Requirement as applicable for the specific phase. Monitor implementation of HSE system in all areas of O & M, follow up on corrective actions by respective area owners to ensure timely closure and acts as a driving force for implementation of continuous improvement process in the area of HSE. To support in developing and directing the Health, Safety, Environment programs and promotional activities at the site. To provide expert advice and assistance on HSE aspects at site.<br /><b>KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:</b><br /><b>Job Specific Accountabilities</b><br />Support in implementation of HSEMS / Processes for the COMPANY in line with ADNOC HSE Standard Guidelines at all O&M and Project Site activities.<br />Participate in Review Project, Operation and Maintenance related reports, Method Statement, work procedure documents and presentations of contractor and consultant as required. Signing off / endorsing / reviewing site HSE documents such as Permits /WMS Requirement / JSA & Formal Risk Assessments.<br />Implementation of Incident and Crisis Management & Response Plans / Drills and exercise at site.<br />Review HSE statistics, KPIs / reports of company & Contractors and compile the same for corporate reporting.<br />Provides input, maintain records for monthly and annual HSE inspection and site visit report.<br />Participates in Emergency and Incident as on Call.<br />Ensures that all related HSE activities are carried out in consistent and harmonized way across all the Sites and conforms to applicable Local, Federal Laws, Regulations, and company Standards.<br />HSE Violation management. Violation/ Cease and desist / patrolling follow-up, close out<br />Carries out HSE trainings and inductions as and when required including engagement sessions with PTW users / Third Party working near asset<br />Site Verification of HSE corrective action and preventive action.<br />Attends and participates in meetings as required.<br />Carry out onsite OH Surveillance & Monitoring (Thermal Workload Measurement / Noise survey) / Weekly Beat the Heat Checks during summer)<br />Performs other related duties as assigned by the HSSEQ Department Manager.<br /><br /><b>Minimum Qualification</b><br />Bachelors degree or Diploma in Engineering OR bachelors degree in relevant Science OR HSE discipline (from an institution of higher learning authorized to grant academic degrees in the country of issue) Must be fluent in English both spoken and writing<br /><br /><b>Minimum Experience & Knowledge & Skills</b><br />Must have a minimum of two (2) years relevant experience in oil & gas or petrochemical industry<br />Excellent knowledge of HSE principles and techniques<br />Experience in HSE Management Systems and knowledge of HSE Standards would be highly advantageous.<br />Good knowledge of international HSE standards relevant to energy Distribution.<br />Exposure HSE Studies e.g. HAZID, TRA, JSA and other compliance related studies.<br />Experience in projects HSE through EPC construction, Operation & Maintenance phases.<br />Experience in site inspection, audit and monitoring on HSE requirements.<br />Experience in the delivery of HSE related training e.g., induction, and Permit to Work shall be added advantage<br />Good communication and presentation skills & Technical Report Writing<br />Strong analytical and problem-solving skills & decision-making ability.<br />TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES:<br />Must be fully conversant with HSE Management Systems requirements.<br />Review HSE Deliverables, documentations for EP
