Collect and review submitted daily reports from Safety Engineers, identify repeated violations and generate alternative solutions.
Ensure all daily safety reports are submitted and cover all areas of the project.
Conduct safety inspections at site on a random basis, make on-the-spot corrections of unsafe acts of personnel and take suitable steps to eliminate all the unsafe conditions.
Maintain all permits in current and valid condition.
Ensure that incident reports are documented in the required format and sent to all concerned.
Attend safety meetings of all personnel and maintain and circulate the minutes of meetings to nominated persons.
Monitor waste management on site according to the CEMP and legal requirements.
Investigate incidents to determine causes and devise preventive measures with HSE Manager.
Recognize and evaluate all building?s access / egress and emergency escape routes, and have a complete idea of all emergency procedures, equipment, equipment location and proper use of it.
Coordinate joint inspections with Site Engineers and Consultant / Client / Visitor Safety Engineers.
Assign HSE Officers to inspect site areas and monitor ongoing activity.
Determine unsafe activities and issue stop work orders to be rectified.
