Job Description

Purpose of the job Responsible for ensuring compliance with local (HSE) and international (Food) regulations & legislations of current and new markets.Key AccountabilitiesRegulatory Affairs Ensure compliance with all legal requirements related to SADAFCOProvide input on changing regulatory environments and the related impact on Business.Conduct timely audits required to ensure compliance with appropriate regulationsProvide operational support and risk based recommendationsBe the regulatory function?s representative in all internal and external meetingsPrimary contact with national Authorities for regulatory issues related to the activities of the functionValidate and register raw materials, artworks, collateral, promotional material and claims with local and international authoritiesLead projects that are cross functional (Quality, R&D, Marketing, Sales, Procurement) related to regulatory topicsBuild relationship with SFDA/Modon and other government personnelMaintain an updated list of the approved regulations, standards and technical regulations related to the business activity and request the purchase of any updated or newly released standard?Quality AssuranceWriting and updating raw material, packaging material and finished product specificationsInitiating corrective and preventive actionsInvestigating customer complaints?New Product Development SupportSupport the R&D department in the development of new products from the regulatory point of viewHealth & Safety ComplianceMonitor compliance with all applicable local legislation and codes governing HSEInterfaces with regulatory agencies, committee members and institutional staff to discuss and resolve HSE matters
