Job Description

Role Purpose: To conduct the QA monitoring activities ensuring the manufacture of high standard products for the consumers according to PI quality and food safety specifications in line with Quality Management System strategy.Accountabilities:

  • Conducts QA monitoring activities that ensure the on time delivery of accurate results and implementation of proficiency testing and Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) for the QA and CO2 Laboratories.
  • Conducts physio-chemical tests on the raw and process materials using approved procedures at required frequencies. Ensures that the correct materials are used in beverage production and sees to it that the beverage produced complies to specifications.
  • Operates lab instruments and equipment; coordinates with QC/QA Section Head for the accurate and timely execution of work.
  • Calibrates tools and equipment; reports any abnormalities of equipment.
  • Prepares and standardizes chemical reagents.
  • Participates in the quality and food safety risk assessments.
  • Coordinates with QS Team for continuous improvement.
  • Participates in the implementation of strategic projects that contribute to the continuous improvement of the business, quality, and people.
  • Helps ensure compliance to 3-D, M&W, AIBI, FSSC22000 standards, HSE, WCM, GMP, GLP, Local Regulatory Requirements and PepsiCo Best Practice Tools.
