Job Description

Job SummaryProvide the needed support for all QA/QC functions and operations as directed by the QA/QC Manager.Job Duties

  • Perform the assigned duties as per the set policies and procedures in order to achieve the QA/QC department goals.
  • Execute QA/QC polices & procedures, plans and programs.
  • Apply and utilize all QA/QC tools, forms and mechanisms needed for data & information gathering.
  • Review and coordinate field quality activities with the costumers? consultants, subcontractors and suppliers in coordination with the project managers.
  • Perform the required verification of the correctness and adequacy of the construction work in accordance with the applicable specifications drawings and procedural requirements
  • Supervise materials, testing and follow up with the approved independent laboratories when needed to ensure timely results are obtained.
  • Assist in testing material on-site as needed and prepare site work reports which include all the inspections undertaken. Submit these daily reports together with any supporting documentation to the QA/QC Manager for his review and recommendations.
  • Report non-compliance with company quality policies and guidelines to the QA/QC Manager along with recommended rectification actions.
  • Documenting the results of each inspected function on the designated reporting form and inform the site supervisor about the unsatisfactory items
  • Gather outputs generated from field visits and discuss results with the concerned parties.
  • Conduct tests and inspections on materials and ensure compatibility with contract terms and international standards.
  • Establish communication channels with suppliers, vendors and contractors in activities and functions related to QA/QC.
  • Follow up on upcoming scheduled activities in advance to coordinate with 3rd parties in advance for the activities require testing e.g. FDT, Concreting, and Asphalting etc.
  • Coordinate with surveyor to finalize the bench mark survey setting out prior to start of construction.
  • Any other tasks related to the job assigned by the direct manager.
