Job Description

Job Title: Project EngineerReporting to: Operation ManagerDepartment: Local OperationsLocation: Riyadh, Jeddah and DammamTasks:

  • Support the Project Manager to ensure Safety, Health and Environmental requirements are implemented to the highest standards and are aligned to Linxon?s, and our Customers, governance / requirements.
  • Support the Project Manager with the overall responsibility for the management of large-scale, multimillion-pound projects, including commercial, technical & site construction responsibilities that achieve, or exceed performance targets.
  • Support the Project Manager with interface for allocated projects, ensuring the voice of the customer is heard and customer expectations are exceeded.
  • Work closely with the Project Manager and the support of the Supply Chain Function for the selection of subcontracted activities, plant and services, including negotiating the contract terms and conditions.
  • Strong Risk and Opportunity Management, both towards customers and the contracted supply chain partners / sub-contractors.
  • Ensure the highest Quality standards are upheld throughout the projects life cycle, ensuring project quality plans have been developed and implemented.
  • Work closely with the Project Manager for the appropriate use of technical- and human resources on the allocated projects.
Requirements:
  • Experience in Electrical Transmission projects, including Civil Construction.
  • Leading by example, your experience will demonstrate a strong leadership and interpersonal skills. This means that you are a strong negotiator, with an excellent ability to resolve issues, lead teams and work constructively to build positive customer relationships.
  • You get your messages across in a coherent and clear way and lead your projects with great confidence at its most difficult and challenging times.
  • A natural ability to take initiative and apply both creativity and perseverance whilst remaining compliant with of Linxon?s Code of Conduct.
  • As Project Engineer, you also need to be highly experienced in risk mitigation & opportunity management.
  • You are able to stay calm, even if unforeseen events threaten to disrupt your projects.
  • Your achievements are built upon a solid business and commercial mindset.
  • As an experienced Senior Project Engineer, you will have worked in complex projects, including resource allocations, recruitment and individual performance challenges.
  • It is preferred that you hold a Master or Bachelor?s degree in an engineering discipline or will be able to demonstrate some extensive years of experience delivering complex projects in the Transmission market.
  • A Project Management Certification, or a PMP certification, are also preferable additional qualifications.
  • Experiences aside, we are looking for someone with a great attitude and a passion to succeed who is enthusiastic, energetic, willing to learn and to provide support to wherever needed, in order to reach the project?s goals & business goals.
  • You are curious by nature and have excellent communication skills.
