Job Description

Purpose of Function :Represent the company and implement all the purchasing policies and strategies by developing various elements essential for the growth of a company in purchasing area , process the overseas purchase orders with suppliers , follow up and ensure the full compliance with the specifications , Monitor and analyze purchasing activity against goals.Duties and Responsibilities :

  1. Review departmental requisitions for overseas supplies, equipment, and services for appropriateness of order information and authorized signatures.
  2. Collect quotations with the Performa invoice from the international market according to the approved suppliers list and update the price list regularly.
  3. Maintain vendor relationships for the purposes of expediting orders, confirming prices, resolving backorders and negotiating contracts.
  4. Review documents and data (e.g. incoming requisitions, past purchases, reconciliations, inventories, etc.) for the purpose of ensuring completeness and accuracy of purchasing process.
  5. Place approved purchase orders with vendors. Confirms prices, shipping, and delivery terms.
  6. Receive the original documents for the shipment from the issuing bank, same will be submitted to Customs Clearance Agent for customs clearance purposes.
  7. Maintain computerized purchasing system. Update vendor information, pricing, item descriptions and requisition system.
  8. Create reports for the purchasing manager as requested for analyzing departmental purchasing activity and supply expense.
