Job Description

OVERVIEWOversee Company Procurement function, develop, establish, implement and enforce supplier guidelines, obligations and service level agreements to the organization.RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES

  • Develop the most efficient route to market to enhance our products/services at the best cost available
  • Source from approved supplier as well as develop local sourcing for non-core items
  • Maintain good relationship with suppliers (both local and oversea) and ensure product stability and service level
  • Analysis trends and market conditions for pricing, availability, lead time, and capacity of goods & services
  • Track and report key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness
  • Ensure KPI?s are met and in particular, On Time, Product delivered In full, appropriate days in inventory
  • Collaborate with key persons to ensure clarity of the specifications and expectations of the company
  • Foresee alterations in the comparative negotiating ability of suppliers and clients
  • Control spend and build a culture of long-term saving on procurement costs
