Manages a portfolio of programs and projects, in support of well-defined business strategies and objectives with business owners. Recognizes and exploits business opportunities provided by IT, best practices, methods and standards, and supports the development of business cases to establish or improve services. Supports in the identification, analysis, management and monitoring of relationships between IT and business owners.Portfolio Management:· Ensures that project leads and/or service owners adhere to the agreed portfolio management approach and timetable and that they provide the appropriate information to agreed targets of timelines and accuracy· Produces reports as appropriate for portfolio governance, including making recommendations for changes to the portfolioRelationship Management:· Identifies the communications needs of each stakeholder group in conjunction with business owners and subject matter experts· Translates communications/stakeholder engagement strategies into specific tasks.· Facilitates open communication and discussion between stakeholders, acting as a single point of contact by developing, maintaining and working to stakeholder engagement strategies and plansInnovation: · Actively monitors for, and seeks, opportunities, new methods, trends, capabilities and products to the advancement of the organization.· Clearly articulates, and formally reports potential benefits from both structural and incremental change.· Encourages and motivates colleagues to share creative ideas and learn from failures.· Maintains awareness of new and emerging technologies and their potential application on client engagements· Applies significant knowledge of industry trends and developments to improve service to our clients· Perform other applicable tasks and duties assigned within the realm of the employees knowledge, skills and abilities in the field of his/her position.
