Formulate development plans, guidelines, policies and strategies and monitor the set goals and targets
Oversee and ensure that performance standards and guidelines are met; constantly explore means of improving services and procedures
Handle complaints from project executioners and resolve them within the given timeframe and budget
Project Planning:
Assist in planning SANS? CNS-ATM operational needs and requirements in coordination with the operations Planning Department and other ESD Departments
Contribute in designing the implementation of the ASBU requirements in conjunction with other operational requirements to ensure that SANS is in line with ICAO standards
Determine areas for the application of the latest technologies in air traffic management in line with international rules and standards by attending related international and regional conferences and benchmarking SANSS? current and planned systems against those of other ANSPs
Policies, Processes and Procedures:
Conduct day-to-day activities while ensuring compliance to policies and procedures
Contribute to the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement of systems, processes taking into account leading practices, changes in business environment, cost reduction and productivity improvement
