Planning and scheduling workflow for each operation according to previously established manufacturing sequences and lead times.
Planning sequence of assembly, fabrication and other manufacturing operations for guidance of production workers.
Determining the status of assigned projects, expedites operations that delay schedules and alters schedules to meet unforeseen conditions.
Preparing production reports.
May also prepare purchase requests to obtain materials, tools, and equipment.
Monitors, analyzes & reports performance to schedule of production & production support activities, utilizing information derived from material and production control systems.
Ensures all parties are fully cognizant of production status, & that work planning and execution objectives are integrated and communicated.
?Interfaces with Projects and/or Customer to coordinate the delivery of the product.
Initiates replacement for non-conforming, damaged or discrepant products.
