Duties and responsibilities

Supervise and Co-ordinate O & M activities
Reviews and evaluates operational reports/keeps parameters with in specifications and approved limits.
Prepares daily reports of plant status (production/distribution/equipments failure).
Prepares incident reports, method statement, technical reports, graphs, root cause reports, trouble shooting methodology etc?
Analyzes / resolves operating problem.
Keeps plant equipment operation & maintenance records updated.
Knowledge of chemicals usage in desalination plant including chemical doses in SWRO/BWRO.
Knowledge of Potable water specifications and water analyzing methods is essential.
Develops preventive maintenance schedules
Estimates supplies, materials, spare parts and issues purchase requisition.
