Job Description

  • Under limited supervision, installs, maintains, troubleshoots and repairs assigned plant equipment.
  • Fills out a work order summary for each completed job.
  • Can safely operate all shop tools.
  • Performs assigned preventive maintenance as scheduled.
  • Reports spare parts requirement to the senior mechanic.
  • Keeps assigned tools in proper working order.
  • Maintains work areas, and job sites in a clean and orderly condition.
  • Assists in training junior mechanics.
  • Understands, follows, and enforces all plant safety, work, and attendance rules.
  • Performs other duties as assigned
