Lead and ConsultingDemonstrate strong leadership abilities within the workshop lab. Supervising, planning and optimizing resource allocation within the facility.Strong knowledge base relating to all procedures and processes.Lead and manage all personnel in the facility.Working knowledge of equipment, drawings and machining processes.Work closely with higher management relating to strategy or other issues.Write policy and procedures, safety policy, asset management, etc.Engage in the recruitment process. Helping to identify candidates by screening and recommendation.Help to identify current ?happenings in the Machining world?, i.e., new technology, equipment and processes.Perform other applicable tasks and duties assigned within the realm of Master Machinist/Supervisor.Safety and Operations Ensure that all personnel are working in a safe manner.Identify and rectify potential safety issues.Use and Enforce all safety regulations of Aramco & Kaust (since SARC is located at KAUST Research Park)Manage machine issues or non-compliances that compromise part quality and/or shop safety.Identify proper safe operational procedures of all Workshop equipment.TeamworkWork closely with higher management relating to strategy or other issues.Engender a team working atmosphere with all staff and management.Strive to continuously improve the service and operations.Engage with the end user in soliciting feedback aimed to improve quality.Ensure the training and upskilling of staff as required.CompetenciesDemonstrates strong leadership qualities and skills.Expert knowledge of machining processes, machining various materials, fixturing, tooling, feeds and speeds, and operation of various machine shop tools and equipmentAbility to analyze and interpret design drawings, manuals and other materials to determine proper fabrication specifications.
