Position SummaryPrimary activities include coral relocation and reef rehabilitation, collection of a variety of field data for marine monitoring programs or baseline surveys, and deployment of marine equipment, or similar. There will be other varied tasks, depending on Project requirements, which may include supporting other (non-marine) survey teams or undertaking office-based tasks. During fieldwork, the role reports to the responsible project manager.This is a field-based role potentially in remote areas. Some surveys may be conducted from larger survey vessels or potentially over an extended period.Scope of Work? Undertake marine field activities, as part of a team (relocation, surveys, equipment deployment/retrieval, etc.);? Support Projects activities with logistics, equipment preparation, permitting and daily paperwork, transfer of materials, cleaning, and maintenance, etc., as required or as directed;? Undertake relevant tasks, as directed by the Team Leader / Supervisor or by the PM.? Support other (non-marine) survey teams or undertake office-based tasks? The role may also include report preparation/logging activities, data management, or similar? Good communication with Project Managers, team members, the client, and relevant authorities;? Perform other applicable tasks and duties assigned within the realm of the employee?s knowledge, skills, and abilities in the field of his/her position.
