Machine Operator - Packing Line / Blow Molding

Maintains, operates, change over, troubleshooting and adjusting the assigned MC under minimum supervision.
Working under minimum supervision seldom requiring assistance to resolve major operating problem.
Clean, adjust; perform minor maintenance and preventive maintenance on the machine.
Report daily usage if any and justify the losses to the Line Foreman.
Keep work areas in a clean and orderly condition.
Understands & follows all plant safety, work, and attendance rules.
Keep the Line Foreman inform of any major maintenance requirement.
May assist in performing major maintenance.

Understand & follow work rules:

Safety & housekeeping:

Wear all required Personal protective equipment
Operate machine withing safety standards (do not touch equipment while operating, ensure safety guards installed in mechanical parts of the machine)
Apply LOTO when preforming maintenance task in machine
Ensure area of responsibility to be in good housekeeping condition and follow 6S principles

Operation:

Understands the machine theory of operation .
The ability to operate and troubleshoot the machine to ensure product to be withing quality standards and efficient production rate
The ability to perform the mechanical changeover of the machine within required time.
Ensure Auxiliary equipment supporting quality assurance are operating efficiently (e.g. HEUFT rejector machines)
Perform quality tests (e.g. fill level, cap torque) as required and fill quality reports
Perform preventive maintenance program on daily, weekly & monthly bases
report maintenance tasks required to be performed by maintenance section to Line leader or foreman
ensure sufficient spare parts are available and inform line leader or foreman in case a spare part item reached minimum order point
Help the Line leader to perform the monthly inventory of Raw Materials
