Job Description

Job Overview:The Lead Accountant is responsible for overseeing the financial activities of an organization. They ensure accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of financial reports and statements, and provide guidance and direction to the accounting team.Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Monitor and analyze financial data to identify trends and potential risks.
  • Prepare reports and presentations to senior management on financial performance and projections.
  • Responsible for the preparation of budgets and forecasts.
  • Ability to prepare and submit VAT in accordance to Saudi regulations.
  • Working with the collections to review accounts, client payments, credit history, and develop new or better repayment terms.
  • Prepare/review and reconciling customer accounts.
  • Prepare/review and reconciling suppliers accounts.
  • Recording daily entries.
  • Prepare/review Bank Reconciliation.
  • Prepare/review monthly commissions.
  • Prepare/review monthly sales reports.
  • Monthly inventory of stock.
  • Reviewing expenses and matching them with the companys policy.
  • Review sales orders.
  • Review of sales invoices and matching selling prices.
  • Monitoring and recording collections and payments.
  • Recording sales returns after matching the delivery order.
  • Reviewing damaged goods and preparing reports.
  • Any other tasks assigned to him/her.
