Job Description

The Role & YouReporting to the CEO, you will be the primary contact for the business with our last-mile providers. You will play a pivotal role in leading all relevant relationships and contracts. You will be responsible for securing the capacity we need, improving performance, and controlling costs. You will be a business partner with Member Experience, Supply Planning, and Middle Mile Logistics and will manage team members responsible for the day-to-day execution of member deliveries.You should have at least four years of direct experience in logistics (Last Mile Logistics a plus, a solid understanding of how logistics interacts with end to end supply chain fundamentals, robust Excel Modeling and Analysis skills (TMS experience a plus), and be a practical planner and delegator.Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Manage the development and work of a team of Logistics Analysts
  • Be responsible for tracking and improving last-mile metrics such as on-time delivery, first offer date, etc.
  • Act as the main point of contact for last-mile 3PLs and internal stakeholders (quality, engineering, finance).
  • Create and communicate the last mile forecast based on cost and performance for the 3PLs
  • Audit and approve all last-mile invoices, support finance team with month-end close, completed delivery information, and cost per delivery
  • Manage implementation and functionality of our TMS
  • Follow up with all couriers on in-transit shipments
  • Follow up and validate same-day delivery order
