Job Description

Work closely with senior machinists and supervisor in planning and scheduling of jobs.Read and assess technical drawings and sketches for conformity prior to scheduling.Set up machines for specific programs and tooling needs as per job instructional data.

  • Manufacture and inspect detailed parts and tools to specifications.
  • Maintain acceptable quality and efficiency levels as set out by supervisor.
  • Perform mathematical and geometrical calculations as needed.
  • Use appropriate measurement tools to inform any corrective actions to rectify errors.
Undertake set-up and co-inspection processes with other team members as needed.Monitor user Job requests and other operational data such as tools and materials inventory.Maintain a clean and safe working environment at all times. Ensure compliance with Health and Safety policies and Lab Safety Plans
