Job Description

Job PurposeDefine and develop infrastructure strategy ensuring that infrastructure requirements are gathered, well understood, documented, communicated, and aligned to IT system whereby implemented infrastructure deliver business benefits and achieve end user satisfaction. Business system & solution requirements are analyzed and provide and supported with sufficient level of infrastructure. Manage, Monitor and Administer LAN, WAN, and other networks of AGM. Facilitate infrastructure support in a courteous, efficient, professional, and timely manner to business users by using appropriate tools and techniques to identify and resolve problem. Ensure 24X7 connectivity and availability of network and communication and business applications. Manage AGM Data Centre and Enterprise application, Disaster Recovery, database and servers. Resource management and control in terms of key initiatives.Responsibilities

  • Coaching, guiding and mentoring team to get the best.?
  • Implement project management methodologies, industry best practices (for information & communication), evolving and proven best practices.
  • Enhance the execution skills of the team, discipline and drive to manage the successful completion of IT infrastructure projects within the organizations portfolio.
  • Manage contracts and relationships to maximize value creation and costs for software licensing, maintenance, and service offerings?
  • Keep manager up to date through presentation on infrastructure management, setting up communication links & implementing security policies.
  • Develop technical strategy, Change Management, Availability, and Proactive service for infrastructure, network connectivity and hardware components.?
  • Manage 24*7 availability of business applications throughout the locations.
  • Manage the IT Security Components.
  • Data Centre Management ? Data Integrity, back up and restoration tools and techniques
  • Manage the Data Centre and Cloud infrastructure.
  • Do the Assessment, recommend & prepare the Cloud migration plan and management.
  • Managing the DR Site and assure the Business continuity.
  • Manage AGM LAN/WAN and Other Network & communication devices throughout business sites.
  • Analyze vendor licensing models and cost scenarios of alternative options to determine optimal licensing and deployment strategies.
  • Knowledge and experience managing software audits
  • Knowledge and experience supporting an IT Asset Management Tool
  • Experience with vendors including Microsoft, Adobe, Trend Micro, Cisco, IBM, HP and others to interpret software license agreements to determine necessary compliance with licensing metrics
  • Formulization & execution of IT policies & guidelines and ensure adherence.?
  • Perform other tasks as assigned by IT Manager.
