Job PurposeAssist line manager in planning and supervising financial, regulatory, compliance or operational reviews/audits.Main Accountabilities

Main Responsibilities

Conducts risk assessments and identifies controls in place to mitigate identified risks.
Performs audit procedures to verify that controls are operating through testing and interviewing techniques.
Analyses and concludes on effectiveness and efficiency of control environment.
Identifies control gaps and opportunities for improvement.
Assign jobs to staff auditors and supervise their work to ensure audit objectives are achieved effectively and efficiently.
Provide feedback on performance of Internal Auditor reporting to him, on audit assignments, as applicable.
Communicate findings to his line manager and draft audit observations.
Prepares timely audit reports for Line Managers review.
Documents the results of audit work in accordance with audit department and the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA) standards.
Prepare daily summary of audit work performed and circulate to all concerned after consultation with line manager.
Contributes, as appropriate, in the year-end financial audit with the external auditor.
Timely prepare and submit expense summary with supporting documents
