Collaborate with Planning on maintenance strategies, procedures and technical approach; review plans and schedules of preventive and corrective maintenance works of I&C Section.
Analyze breakdown problems and formulate maintenance actions to prevent recurrence, provide technical advice, program and training on I&C related issues.
Ensure execution of inspections of in-process and final completed works, inspection documentation and final report.
Continuous review and audit of I&C maintenance standard procedures to ensure compliance with vendor manual recommendations and standards codes.
Ensure proper documentations are in place for special maintenance and test procedures associated with I&C/DCS equipment.
Provide technical support in instrumentation failures and troubleshooting.
Interpret engineering drawings, schematics, diagrams or formulas and confer with engineering staff to determine quality and reliability standards, including compliance with standard codes requirements.
Evaluate maintenance strategies, procedures and methods.
Support Maintenance planning to develop plans and schedules for all activities under I&C Section. Review execution progress and ensure completion on time.
Review spares availability and recommends stock level adjustment and new stocks to ensure economical and safe stock for maintenance work.
Provide technical support to maintenance staff and carry-out quality inspections when required.
Attend meetings and liaises with client departments.
Facilitate and advice related to Technical evaluations of supplier offers for spares and services.
Participate in maintenance budgeting for five years, monitor and control maintenance costs.
Review section reports and maintenance KPI?s. Recommend and follows up actions to achieve the targets.
Assist Safety Department to investigate accidents or injuries in I&C section and provide inputs to reports of findings and recommendations.
Review the preventive maintenance programs and recommend changes when required to improve the programs. Ensures that PM programs are covering all plant equipment.
Review shutdowns work scopes and standard spares lists to ensure effective scopes for plant reliability.
Counsel I&C personnel about work-related issues and assist them to correct job-skill deficiencies.
Evaluate Instrumentation/DCS systems or facilities and analyze information to determine needed installations, services, or repairs.
Conduct or arrange for worker training in safety, repair, or maintenance techniques, operational procedures, or equipment use. Individual Objectives
Achieve 100% completion of workable work orders related to I&C/DCS during quarter, system monitoring, trouble shooting and fault analysis, so as backup system.

Achieve 100% efficiency reporting of instrumentation /control troubles (If any) related to alarms, events, trends, process summary recorded in DCS functionality.
Create or review at least 4 operational and maintenance procedures (approved as per ISO requirements) per quarter, concerning I&C/DCS.
Achieve 100% compliance on schedule of all maintenance activities related to I&C/DCS.
100% completion of required section reports, documents and other required supports to other departments. Including technical evaluations and material inspections.
University graduate/Bachelors Degree in Engineering (Electrical or Electronics)

Qualification: Experience
At least 10 years related professional experience, with at least 5 years in supervisory capacity
Work experience in maintenance instrumentations, controls and its accessories for thermal power plant equipment, incl. boiler and turbine supervisory instruments and controls, spare parts identification and planning & scheduling of maintenance, FGDs and Desalination plant knowledge.
Strong leadership (planning, organizing, multi-level communication) and technical writing skills
