Job Description

Oversee day-to-day personnel operation activities and the organization?s employee relations strategy by complying with the approved company policies and procedures, and Saudi Labor Laws to ensure efficient and effective support to assigned operating business, region and associates.

  • Manage the associates? personal records like contract of employment, medical insurance, social security, etc. updated through strict adherence of approved standard operation procedures to ensure high level of data integrity and reliability.
  • Monitor and review the market HR operations trend and issues as well as employment standards and regulations of the industry in order to understand how these affect the organization and adapt appropriate best practice.
  • Manage all payroll change transactions (transfer, salary increase, promotion, termination, etc.) of the assigned business through regular monitoring of the transaction activities to ensure the relevant information updated correctly.
  • Manage the saudization rate of the assigned function or business through close monitoring on the recruitment activities in order to meet the targeted saudization rate.
  • Manage all labour and immigration activities related to associates through following the standard processes to support the associate in managing his working visa, exit and re-entry visa and IQAMA.
  • Strengthen government relationship by having regular visit to the labour, immigration and any government authority offices to ensure that necessary support obtained from the government offices.
  • Responsible for building and sustaining high levels of engagement in the team, whenever applicable, by setting clear standards of performance, giving specific constructive feedback regularly for developmental purposes and aligning the team to the organizational goals; Expected to hold team leaders within his structure accountable for building and sustaining high levels of engagement in their respective teams.
  • Coach and train subordinates in order to transfer substantial knowledge in all administration activities to ensure continuity of the process in case of absences or vacancy in the office.
  • Advice, coach and train managers and supervisors to help ensure that all employer-employee relationships in the company are conducted in a way that complies with relevant individual employment contracts, regulations, laws and company?s employment policies and procedures.
  • Conduct briefing on new recruits so that they integrate quickly into the organization by acquiring essential knowledge in the administration process and procedures.
  • Control and administer personnel administration activities like personal files, records, salary increase, etc., through efficient, effective, just and fair implementation of the policies and standards of the company.
  • Analyze employee relations issues so that other managers, legal counsels, mediators and consultants are well prepared for bargaining, negotiation and dispute resolution procedures.
  • Prepare materials for legal counsel, mediators and external consultants and manage these relationships to ensure the company?s interests are well represented.
  • Manage, mentor, develop associates and ensure they are provided opportunities for development and that career paths and succession plans are charted out through a Succession/ Progression Development Interventions.
  • Execute corrective and preventive actions imposed to erring associates in compliance to the approved company policies and Saudi Labor Laws (SLL) to inculcate discipline and obedience from all associates.
