Job Description

The Safety Health & Environment is designated to monitor work activities to ensure that workers comply with company policies and government safety regulations. His responsibilities are pertaining to oversee the policy development, safety inspections, safety training, and compliance, etc?with current approved safety HSE regulations.

  • Lead HSE inspector/HSE Supervisor in ALL HSE department activities
  • Sees to evaluating all HSE Risk Assessments pertaining to the various operational areas.
  • Ensures, in accordance with the corporate guidelines, the implementation, of inspections and auditing tasks as per HSE Systems.
  • Monitors the effective implementation of appropriate Safety and Environment System procedures
  • Provides for motivation and familiarization of all safety officers
  • Conducts safety audits.
  • Takes part in accident/incident investigation.
  • Carries out safety audits on Sub-contractors.
  • Assure supporting HSE requirements input into new projects and modification programs.
  • Performs Risk Assessment.
  • Manages the induction of new employees, contractors, and consultants and ensure that they are fully
  • briefed on the Companys HSE requirements.
  • Maintain a Risk Management Plan, which includes risk assessments.
  • Be a part of the investigation team for all types of incidents, accidents.
  • Monitors and controls the performance of HSE officers.
  • Manages the activities of Safety, Environmental, Fire, and Loss Prevention, as well Emergency
  • Response and Crisis Management.
