Job Description

Job ObjectiveSupervise logistics personnel, logistics systems, and daily logistics operations to ensure and maximize logistics operational performance and fulfill customer requirements.Primary Duties and Responsibilities

  • Initiate, plan, supervise, and measure improvement and logistics projects utilizing LEAN thinking to achieve demonstrable results.
  • Plan and implement delivery timetable.
  • Ensure the implementation of the policies and procedures on all logistics department?s activities.
  • Control and manage detentions.
  • Control containers, vehicles, and General Goods movement in and out of the yards or warehouses and participate in strategic planning for logistics department.
  • Ensure all the open job order completed and closed on time
  • Evaluates performance effectiveness of subordinates and prepares evaluations, recommends promotions and reassignments, and recommends disciplinary action, as required.
  • Resolve problems concerning logistics systems, or customer issues.
  • Ensure that stores have enough stock and oversee the arrival of shipments.
  • Maintaining excellent relationship with customers and ensure smooth running of the logistics department and timely service of all customers.
  • Report all relative work tasks daily and perform related work as required by line manager.
  • Ensure that Logistics operational activities are compliant with local laws, regulations, and company?s.
  • Supervise, train, develop, and motivate department members
