Role purpose:To ensure effective operation on the gym floor including provision of advice to members with regards to maintaining correct exercise technique and overall responsibility for ensuring the gym is kept in good condition. Further responsibilities include implementing individua exercise programmes and providing motivational strategies to ensure members achieve their goals.KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES & ACTIVITIES:OverallDemonstrate a high standard of instruction and technique in the execution of all exercises and motivate members to adhere to their personal fitness programsTo initiate new member orientation and associated exercise programs in order to motivate members to strive to achieve identified health and fitness goalsTo assist members of the safe use of training equipment, to design personal training programs, and deliver a high standard of gym floor and studio-based classesEducate and enforce B-IT etiquette and regulations as designated in club rules and regulations including ensuring members clean equipment after use and return it to their allocated storage area and ensuring all equipment is in good order to maintain optimal member service and experienceSupport all club promotions and actively promote B-IT services thus ensuring members maximize their gym membershipDemonstrate the ability to meet Key Performance Indicators (KPI) in accordance to set monthly club targets and revenue goals.Member satisfactionAssist members on a daily basis in advising them on correct use of facilities/equipment and correct exercise techniqueMaintain relevant communication channels with members in order to accommodate feedback/criticism and ensure members feel welcome and valuedStructured time management to ensure have a proper time for planning training sessions and timely feedback to personnel to drive improvements
