Job Description

As a facility head, you will be responsible for the overall daily management and direction of the assigned Abeer facility; hospital, or medical center. Key responsibilities include P&L responsibility, providing strategic leadership as well as day-to-day financial and operational management and directions to the assigned facility, competitive intelligence, growth and development, clinical services, and inter & Intra facility communications.Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

  • Work directly with executive teams to address issues that are affecting the business or communities in providing quality patient care.
  • Direct strategic and business planning efforts for the assigned facility, across all lines of business and functional areas.
  • Coordinate operations of health staff in the outpatient-inpatient setting for a department/division in alignment with institutional and department/division mission, vision, and objectives
  • Directs and supervises the facility management by providing leadership and guidance regarding patient & family service, quality patient care, human resources, information management, materials management, and maintenance.
  • Provides direction and oversight to the department heads ensuring the provision of outstanding patient care whilst maintaining compliance with all applicable regulatory and corporate requirements and quality standards
  • Budgeting:
    • Leads in the development and implementation of long-range plans and annual budgets.
    • Monitors weekly & monthly performance and collections to reinforce goals.
    • Monitors and controls clinic expenditures within budget.
  • Recommends changes based on knowledge of policies, costs, and operating procedures.
  • Implementing, monitoring, and reporting KPIs and KRAs across all functions.
  • Understands and monitors clinic processes specific to positive outcomes in all areas of MOH, JCI & CBAHI Accreditation and Quality Compliance Plan, etc. Implements the immediate plan of corrective action(s) as needed.
  • Monitoring daily, weekly, monthly and year-to-date trends (service patterns from physicians and departments); staying abreast of market competition and explore strategies to maximize staff resourcefulness and facilitate patient satisfaction and retention; providing monthly updates and communicates regularly with management to ensure strategies align with group goals.
  • Intervene and problem solves for inter-/intra-departmental issues. Facilitate interdepartmental communication and decision-making.
  • Maintains liaison with all levels of administration, TQM, physicians, physician assistants, support staff, and external entities to enhance business practices.
